My Feet- Just when I paint my toenails I use cuticle oil and remover and of course OPI nail polish.
My Hands- any kind of lotion that smells good.
Three Items to take to a Desert Island- Well, the hairdryer and flat iron won't work without an outlet so, Bed Head scrunching gel, tanning oil, and chapstick.
Women I admire for their beauty- my sisters and my mommy
Women with the best sense of style- Gwen Stefani, Rachel Bilson, Hope on Days of Our Lives hehehe
My Ultimate Dream- I'm not sure if this is supposed to do with style and beauty or life in general, but if it's beauty it is to be in shape throughout my whole life so I can always feel good about myself...if it is life in general, it would be to have all of my children grow up and be righteous people who love me and will always do what's right, no matter what the world around them becomes like.

I tag Charise (sorry) and James hehe, Courtney L, Courtney D, Cassie, Kami, and would tag Misty but I know Whitney already did, and Callie...and no tag backs!

McMullin Family Reunion

This is now out of order but I was just too excited to tell about our Florida trip. We had our McMullin family reunion the week before we left. First day we went to the Twin Falls temple open house. It was so pretty and amazing inside. I can't believe it is possible to have such perfection. It was a great experience (except for the part Carson jumped on the couch).

Afterwards we went to the park area at Shoshone Falls. This was really nice...I didn't even know this part existed! The kids swam and played on the beach while I hid in the shade so I wouldn't get more sunburned than I had gotten the day before!

I don't know how many Popsicles Carson had that week!

The neighbor let everyone swim in her pool. Carson learned that he could swim by himself with the floaties on and had a blast!

Everyone went geocaching to find the "hidden treasure." I think they enjoyed it. Except Carson who had been a little overexerted that week!

Withdrawals

Coming back to reality has been rough. I wish I could have stayed on vacation a lot longer. I just can't believe how beautiful it was. I'm pretty sure I need another vacation.

Great Day at the Beach!!

We got Carson a Dump Truck and we couldn't go anywhere without it. I felt bad that we had to leave it there because he told me it was his "favorite dump truck".

The Death-defying Jungle

On our 2nd day in Florida we went to the Myakka River State Park. It was this incredible jungle with lakes everywhere that were fed by the river. Anybody who knows about Florida knows that where there is a lake, there are crocodiles. So in this park they have hundreds of trails that you can walk through. As you enter these trails there are signs that say "You may see these animals" with pictures of crocodiles, snakes, warthogs, meerkats, lizards, etc. Starting out I thought that would be way cool. As we continued though, we got deeper in and it got really creepy. We walked passed a sign describing this certain kind of snake. We were on a tiny bridge not about a foot above this marshy area that would have been great for snakes or crocodiles to jump up and eat us. As I read that sign a lizard scurried across and I almost died of heart attack. From that moment on my legs wouldn't stop shaking and all I wanted to do was get out of this horrible place!
Anyway, we never saw anything but lizards. Once we got done walking though, we drove up the road a ways to the big lake and saw a crocodile right there in the water! There were more people around then, so I wasn't worried. Driving out later we saw another one in a smaller lake! I guess I'm not as adventurous in my old age.

This was a cool bridge. Only 4 people are aloud on at a time. You cross it and climb up to a 75 ft. tower to see the pretty view. It really was a pretty place.
This was the view at the top of the tower.

Carson and Harris showing us their muscles. They were trying to make me feel better to have them protecting me. Cute boys :)

Here Comes the Sun!

Since we got to our condo at night on Tuesday, this was our actual first full day. It was raining still in the morning so we decided to go to the aquarium. It was fun for having to be cooped up inside in Florida. We saw sharks, dolphins, and manatees. Carson enjoyed the part that we got to pet the Stingrays.

When we got done it had stopped raining so we sped home to go play on the beach right down the path from our condo. It was fun because we didn't know this, but there usually aren't waves like this when it's not stormy outside so we had fun crashing into them. It looks cold, but it was still really nice and warm and the water felt like a bathtub!

We're Back!!!!!

So this was our arrival to Florida. We had to drive from the Tampa airport to Sarasota, where we were staying. I was near breakdown mode because this is what we arrived to. It was really scary because we couldn't even see out of our car and we were just driving in a little Yaris. It even got way worse than this where all of the cars had to drive with their hazards on so people could see them. I was so worried this was what we would have through the entire vacation, but luckily it cleared up by the next afternoon and the rest of our time there was amazingly perfect weather!

Proud to Be an American!

The day started out early when Harris and I did the Liberty 5K. We went straight from the run to the 4th of July parade. Carson loved it because his mom is a freak and helped him run to get all the candy he could ever want! He also loved the huge tanks and tractors!

Later that night we headed to see the most amazing firework show I have ever seen. It was put on by Melaluca and they served us dinner behind a hotel and shot off the firework over the river.

During the firework show they play all kinds of great patriotic songs. I got teary eyed when my favorite song came on "I'm Proud to Be an American" because I was sitting there so happy with my wonderful family and the words really got to me because I really am glad to live in a free nation and feel lucky to be here. I can go to church and believe in God and raise my children in a safe place. I'm glad I could be there with my family and experience such a great night!

Catch Up

Everybody has been asking me to post some pictures of how the wedding turned out so here they are. This is Christian and Heidi's wedding. Charise did the cupcake tower which turned out really nice and I did the table centerpieces which were pretty cool too. I think it turned out pretty awesome. Thanks Courtney and Clarisa for helping me work on those! I don't know what I would have done without you!

It's What Fun Is...

Lagoon! We went to Lagoon last week for the "Harmon Family Reunion." We (or at least Carson and I) had a blast! It's been a while since I've had that kind of thrill and I had sooo much fun. Carson is one brave little guy too. He was able to ride a lot of the rides since he's such a tall boy. I have never seen such a brave 2 year old. He asks me every day to go back, but I'm working on Harris to take us to Disneyland next! Thanks Mom and Dad for the greatest weekend I've had for a long time and getting our family together to enjoy it with them. I love you family!

Potty Trained!

Carson started his training the week before last and graduated by that weekend! He was finally ready this shot around and it is crazy to not have to buy this boy's diapers anymore! Here he is holding up his potty train chart! He was able to go pick out a toy of his choice for finishing! Yay!
